Basketball Recap: Franklin County Lions vs. Hebron Christian Lions
After flying high against Stephens County last Friday, Franklin County came back down to earth. The Franklin County Lions took a 70-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hebron Christian Lions. Franklin County hasn't had much luck with Hebron Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Franklin County now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Hebron Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Prince Avenue Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Prince Avenue Christian likes a good challenge. As for Hebron Christian, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Hart County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hebron Christian is on a four-game streak of home wins, Hart County a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
