Basketball Recap: Foxcroft Academy Comes Up Short

Foxcroft Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hermon Hawks. If the Ponies were looking for revenge after losing 44-42 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Foxcroft Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hermon, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Foxcroft Academy will head out to square off against Central at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hermon, they will be home for the holidays to greet Bucksport at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hermon is facing Bucksport at the right time seeing as Bucksport is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
