Baseball Game Preview: Groveport-Madison Cruisers vs. Teays Valley Vikings

Groveport-Madison is 0-4 against Teays Valley since April of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Cruisers will challenge the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Groveport-Madison has given up an average of 12.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Groveport-Madison is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Wednesday. They lost 16-6 to Canal Winchester.

Chris Conley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Kaden Bush also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Teays Valley never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Logan as they made off with a 6-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Teays Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Groveport-Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
