Basketball Recap: Bayou Academy Wins Going Away Against Lamar

While Bayou Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 60-45 victory over the Lamar Raiders on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colts also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2020.

The win made it two in a row for Bayou Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Lamar, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

Coming up, Bayou Academy will host Washington at 7:05 p.m. on Friday. As for Lamar, they will challenge Oak Hill Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
