Softball Recap: Eunice Comes Up Short

Eunice couldn't beat St. Louis Catholic on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Bobcats fell just short of the Saints by a score of 8-7. The Bobcats' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Eva Sattler was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was De'Miyah Reed, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Eunice's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for St. Louis Catholic, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eunice will take on Rosepine at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Louis Catholic, they will face off against Kinder at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
