Mar Vista had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Santana Sultans by a score of 68-60 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Mariners, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jahaziel 'Jah' Catano went supernova, dropping a double-double with 32 points and 11 boards. Holden Bell was another key player, shooting 45% from the field to rack up 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and four blocks.
