Soccer Game Preview: Frederick vs. Linganore

Frederick hasn't had much luck against Linganore recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cadets will face off against the Lancers. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Frederick is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Tuscarora a 1-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Linganore entered their tilt with Brunswick on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Railroaders.

Linganore's win bumped their record up to 8-3-2. As for Frederick, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Frederick suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Linganore when the teams last played back in September. Can the Cadets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
