Basketball Recap: Tillamook Triumphs

Tillamook hadn't done well against Banks recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Tillamook Cheesemakers snuck past the Banks Braves with a 53-49 victory. For the Cheesemakers, this counts as revenge for the 57-43 win the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Tillamook now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Banks, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

When Tillamook and Banks next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Tillamook will try to stop Sutherlin's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Banks will challenge Scappoose and their four-game winning streak at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
