Soccer Recap: The Colony Comes Up Short

The Colony managed to keep up with Melissa until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Colony Cougars lost 5-2 to the Melissa Cardinals. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly three goals.

Santiago Pereira and Yovani Reyes scored both of The Colony's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

The Colony is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

The Colony will challenge Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Melissa, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Melissa challenge the Castleberry at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
