Soccer Game Preview: Chattanooga Christian vs. Webb

The Chattanooga Christian Chargers will take on the Webb Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chattanooga Christian will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Chattanooga Christian's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against Knoxville Catholic by a score of 2-0. Give Chattanooga Christian's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Urban Tucker and Ethan Regis scored both of Chattanooga Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Meanwhile, Webb unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They and Boyd-Buchanan finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Webb's first draw of the season.

Chattanooga Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five contests. With that draw, Webb's record moves to 3-2-1.

Chattanooga Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Webb in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
