Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Fighting Irish vs. Indianola Academy Colonels
St. Joseph pushed their score to 67 the last time they played Indianola Academy, but on Thursday they couldn't quite do it again. The St. Joseph Fighting Irish narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Indianola Academy Colonels 24-22. The Fighting Irish have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Colonels, too.
St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
St. Joseph will head out on the road to face off against Tri-County Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Indianola Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
