Basketball Recap: Valwood Falls Short of Brookwood in the Playoffs

Valwood and Brookwood squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Valwood had to settle for second. They were dealt a 79-29 loss at the hands of the Brookwood Warriors. The contest marked the Valiants' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Valwood's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Brookwood, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-2.

Valwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brookwood, they will square off against Deerfield-Windsor at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
