Soccer Game Preview: Limestone vs. Morton

Limestone hasn't had much luck against Morton recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rockets will be playing at home against the Potters at 6:30 p.m. Limestone is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Limestone's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Bloomington with a sharp 6-0 win. Dani Sloan was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Morton came tearing into Saturday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Knights.

Morton's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those five games. As for Limestone, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
