Football Recap: Normal West Find Success

Normal West won the last time they faced Waubonsie Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats managed a 40-35 victory over the Warriors. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly five points.

The win made it two in a row for Normal West and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.5 points over those games. As for Waubonsie Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Normal West will square off against Manual at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waubonsie Valley, they will be playing at home against Stagg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
