The Regis Rams will face off against the Monroe Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Regis 3.5, Monroe 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Monroe will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Regis extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Rams never let East Linn Christian Academy get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. Considering the Rams have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jake Bohnke made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Regis let Rook Smith and Griffin Kolb run wild. Smith went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Kolb went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave Kolb a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luke Castillo, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Regis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, after a string of 11 wins, Monroe's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Crosshill Christian by a score of 8-6.
Regis pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.
Regis took their victory against Monroe in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 16-6 score. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
