Softball Game Preview: Lubbock Westerners vs. Tascosa Rebels

The Lubbock Westerners will square off against the Tascosa Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lubbock is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since March 18, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against Stephenville, falling 10-3. The Westerners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Tascosa had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Hornets.

Kassidy Langeland was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Tascosa now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Lubbock, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1.
