Morley Stanwood won the last time they faced Central Montcalm and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mohawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hornets. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Mohawks this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Morley Stanwood took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-6.

Katelynne Nawrot paced Morley Stanwood's offense, picking up ten kills. Nawrot got some help from Aivree Christensen and her 22 assists. Alexis Martin controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Morley Stanwood now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Central Montcalm, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Morley Stanwood will take on Kingsley at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Central Montcalm and Lakeview will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
