Basketball Recap: Redfield Takes a Loss

Redfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 68-44 to the Faulkton Trojans. The Pheasants were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Redfield's record is now 0-7. As for Faulkton, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redfield will host Mt. Vernon at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Faulkton, they will be playing at home against Aberdeen Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aberdeen Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Faulkton likes a good challenge.
