Softball Recap: Shea Comes Up Short

Shea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 22-2 to the Middletown Islanders. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Shea's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Middletown, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shea will face off against Hope at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middletown, they will challenge Mount Pleasant at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Green Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Islanders surely won't give up without a fight.
