Basketball Recap: Wolfson Piles Up the Points Against Englewood

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fletcher, Wolfson was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They really took it to the Englewood Rams for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-13 win. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Hannah Timmerman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 21 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Wolfson's points. Persephone Colon was another key player, posting ten points.

Wolfson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Englewood, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Wolfson will host Hilliard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Englewood, they will face off against Clay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Englewood is facing Clay at the right time seeing as Clay is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
