Southaven was led to victory by Jayven Welch and Caden Johnson. Welch went 8 of 14 on his way to 19 points and seven boards, while Johnson went 7 of 12 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds. As for New Albany, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 88-55 victory against Myrtle on the 2nd.
