Volleyball Recap: Larkin Comes Up Short

Larkin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fenton Bison. If the Royals were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bison when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10.

Larkin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fenton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Larkin will square off against St. Edward at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fenton, they will challenge Schaumburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
