A Season-Best Effort from Jackson Heavner Leads Cherryville over Highland Tech

On Friday, Cherryville got the W thanks in part to Jackson Heavner playing the best football he has all season. Heavner rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 69 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Cherryville moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. Heavner and Cherryville will venture away from home to take on Thomas Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
