Basketball Game Preview: Thomasville Bulldogs vs. Brookwood Warriors

The Thomasville Bulldogs will head out to take on the Brookwood Warriors at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.

Thomasville is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Brantley County on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Thomasville came up short against Brantley County, falling 55-32. The Bulldogs were down 44-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Brookwood had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 51-17 win over Valwood. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.

Brookwood's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Thomasville, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Thomasville strolled past Brookwood in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a score of 54-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Thomasville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
