Basketball Recap: Sumter County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sumter County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 48-40 to the Lee County Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-53 last Saturday.

Sumter County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lee County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sumter County will venture away from home to face off against Chattahoochee County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sumter County will need to watch out since Chattahoochee County has now posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Lee County, they will head out on the road to challenge Tift County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
