Baseball Recap: Everett Alvarez Comes Up Short

Everett Alvarez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Alisal Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-7 loss back in April.

Everett Alvarez saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Buddy Torres, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Everett Alvarez's defeat dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Alisal, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-13 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Everett Alvarez will face off against Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alisal, they will square off against Greenfield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
