Volleyball Recap: Lower Lake Trojans vs. Upper Lake Cougars        
        
		
             Lower Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  3-0 to the Upper Lake Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the  2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in August.
 The  loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive:  Upper Lake scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21,  25-23.
 Upper Lake was led to victory by  Jacqueline Marcks and  Angelina Rivera.  Marcks  had three  digs and two  aces, while  Rivera  had four  kills, three  blocks,  and three  blocks. Rivera is  on a roll when it comes to  blocks, as she's  now  had three or more in the last seven games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Lower Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Upper Lake,  the  win snapped their losing streak at six games  and leaves them with a 4-8 record.
 Lower Lake will play host again  on Tuesday to welcome Cloverdale, where the match is scheduled  at 6:00  p.m. As for Upper Lake, they will square off against Eureka at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
