They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-59 win over the Northridge Polar Bears. This was a revenge game for the Buccs: when they faced off against the Polar Bears back in December of 2025, they had to take a 60-59 defeat.
Covington moved to 6-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
