Greenfield had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They came out on top against the Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots by a score of 4-1. Four seems to be a good number for the Knights as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Christopher Tankersley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Greenfield's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Simon Quinn, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Greenfield's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Arendell Parrott Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-2 record.
