Baseball Recap: Centerville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Chariton on Monday, Centerville came back down to earth. The Big Reds/Redettes fell 10-7 to the Chargers on Monday. The Big Reds/Redettes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 15-5.

Centerville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Chariton, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Centerville will head out to challenge Davis County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chariton, they will be playing at home against Twin Cedars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
