Basketball Game Preview: Monmouth-Roseville Titans vs. Wethersfield Flying Geese

Monmouth-Roseville has won three straight games at home, while Wethersfield has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Monmouth-Roseville Titans will host the Wethersfield Flying Geese at 7:00 p.m. Both are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Last Thursday, Monmouth-Roseville took their game with ease, bagging a 58-30 victory over Orion. With the Titans ahead 33-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wethersfield). They breezed by Princeville to the tune of 75-37 on Monday. The Flying Geese have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Wethersfield has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Monmouth-Roseville, their win bumped their record up to 20-8.

Monmouth-Roseville strolled past Wethersfield in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 54-37. Will Monmouth-Roseville repeat their success, or does Wethersfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
