Softball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

After flying high against Estacado last Friday, Liberty came back down to earth. The Patriots lost 18-4 to the Big Spring Steers on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Steers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in March.

Liberty has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season. As for Big Spring, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Looking ahead, Liberty will host Snyder at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Big Spring, they will take on Estacado at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Steers are facing the Matadors at the right time seeing as the Matadors are stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
