Baseball Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

Warren managed to slip by Buna the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warren Warriors might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-3 to the Buna Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Levi Ledbetter was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February.

Warren's record is now 8-8. As for Buna, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season.

While Warren had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
