Kingman Academy is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of St. John Paul II Catholic.

Brayden Russell was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Joseph City's offense. They lost 29-0 to Mogollon on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
