Volleyball Recap: Palmer Gets the Win

Palmer won the last time they faced Lathrop and things went their way on Saturday too. The Moose had just enough and edged out the Malemutes 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Moose have posted since September 27th.

Palmer can attribute much of their success to Laekyn Leroux, who had 12 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Leroux has posted over her last nine contests.

Leroux wasn't the only good servers: Palmer was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. The Moose are 9-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Palmer's record now sits at 21-17-4. As for Lathrop, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-20-10.

Palmer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Kenai Central on the 25th. As for Lathrop, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Juneau-Douglas on the 25th.
