Volleyball Recap: Kennett Takes a Loss

The Kennett Indians came up short against the Bell City Cubs on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Bell City was led to victory by Preslie Mannon and Hayden Walter. Mannon had five digs and five aces, while Walter had seven digs and one assist. Mannon is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Kennett's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Bell City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Kennett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Piggott on the 5th. As for Bell City, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Oran on the 7th.
