Volleyball Recap: Magna Vista Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Magna Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Magna Vista's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Lord Botetourt, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Magna Vista and Lord Botetourt should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Warriors (ranked 83rd) will meet Martinsville (ranked 363rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lord Botetourt will square off against Northside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (131 vs. 313).
