Recap: Seneca Bobcats vs. Easley Green Wave

The Seneca Bobcats entered their tilt with the Easley Green Wave with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Seneca came out on top against Easley by a score of 55-48 on Wednesday. For Seneca, this counts as revenge for the 50-33 loss Easley walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Seneca was led to victory by Stu Finley and Jalen Craig. Finley scored 16 points, while Craig dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Craig's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam O'kelley, who scored 10 points.

Despite the loss, Easley saw an underclassman step up: RJ Stack scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds. Stack continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Drey Jackson, who scored 8 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds.

Seneca's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Easley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Seneca will look to defend their home court on Friday against Belton-Honea Path at 7:30 p.m. Belton-Honea Path will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Easley won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Walhalla at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Walhalla is ranked 219th, while Easley is ranked 199th).
