Chillicothe and Maryville are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2020, but not for long. The Hornets will head out to take on the Spoofhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Chillicothe comes in on 11 and Maryville on three.

Chillicothe barely beat St. Joseph Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

Chillicothe never let St. Joseph Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Maryville made easy work of South Harrison on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Maryville walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-16.

Chillicothe's win bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Maryville, their victory bumped their record up to 25-8.

Chillicothe was able to grind out a solid win over Maryville when the teams last played on Saturday, winning 2-0. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Spoofhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
