Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lithia Springs). They breezed past the Carver Panthers to the tune of 56-0 on Thursday. The Leo Lion's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a point in their last three contests.

Lithia Springs pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.2 points on average over those games. As for Carver, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coincidentally, Lithia Springs and Carver will both be playing Riverdale the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Leo Lion will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
