Baseball Recap: Mcclain Has No Trouble Against Eastern

The McClain Tigers made easy work of the Eastern Warriors on Monday and carried off a 15-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Cohen Six made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Six was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, McClain got a big performance out of Kolton Lamb, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Conner Mccune, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

McClain's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McClain will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Westfall at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastern, they will square off against Felicity-Franklin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
