Volleyball Game Preview: Prospect Panthers vs. Pioneer Mustangs + How To Watch

The Prospect Panthers will challenge the Pioneer Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Prospect didn't have quite enough to beat Gilroy and fell 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Prospect sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 18-25, 25-15, 18-25, 25-13.

Prospect might have lost, but man, Naaliyah Yap was a machine: she had 23 digs and two aces. Yap is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Meanwhile, Pioneer came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Grizzlies as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Pioneer not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Gunderson between 14 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-15.

Prospect dropped their record down to 11-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pioneer, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.
