Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Township Broncos vs. Yellow Springs Bulldogs

The Jefferson Township Broncos will head out to square off against the Yellow Springs Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Jefferson Township and five for Yellow Springs.

Back in December of 2024, Jefferson Township was beaten by Miami Valley 64-29.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 78-40, which was the final score in Yellow Springs' tilt against Oyler on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 786th, while the MAD Hatters are ranked 262nd).

Yellow Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Jefferson Township, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Jefferson Township couldn't quite finish off Yellow Springs when the teams last played back in January of 2024 and fell 47-44. Can Jefferson Township avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
