Riverton Parke won the last time they faced Attica and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Red Ramblers. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by ten runs or more this season.
Jayleigh Inman and Reese Simmons were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Inman tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Simmons pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Inman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. At the plate, Inman went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI, while Simmons went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Ashlyn Brenton was excellent, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Madison Coonce was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
