Football Recap: Richton Comes Up Short

Richton played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against South Choctaw Academy, falling 36-14.

Richton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for South Choctaw Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Richton will take on Resurrection Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South Choctaw Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Jackson Academy at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
