Kosciusko came tearing into Friday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 55-13 win over the Greenwood Bulldogs. The Whippets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Leading Kosciusko to victory were Kaleysha Miller and Senaj Jones. Miller went 8 of 11 en route to 17 points and six rebounds, while Jones went 5 of 12 on her way to 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaniziya Floyd, who posted six points.

Kosciusko smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 12 consecutive contests.

Kosciusko is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Greenwood, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kosciusko will venture away from home to square off against McAdams at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. After both having extra time off, Greenwood and Caledonia will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
