Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Faith Christian Academy lost against Wayne Christian Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Faith Christian Academy Angels took a 68-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wayne Christian Academy Eagle.

When it comes to explaining why Faith Christian Academy lost, don't look at Caleb Anders. Despite the final result, he posted 27 points along with five boards and three steals. The match was Anders' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Maloy, who put up ten points and five assists.

Even though they lost, Faith Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.

Faith Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Wayne Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
