Volleyball Recap: Monday's Win Is Lancaster's 14th in Last 16 Outings

There's no place like home for Lancaster, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Highland Bulldogs on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

The victory didn't come easy: Highland scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 25-23.

Lancaster's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nathan Babb, who had 33 assists and six digs. Babb has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 15 times he's played.

Lancaster has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-17 record this season. As for Highland, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-11.

Looking ahead, Lancaster will be playing in front of their home fans against Antelope Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Antelopes at the right time seeing as the Antelopes are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Highland, they will square off against Palmdale at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
