Volleyball Recap: Minerva Comes Up Short

Minerva lost against Marlington back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Dukes, falling 3-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-17, 25-12.

Minerva's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Marlington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Minerva is set to square off against their familiar foe Alliance at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Marlington will challenge rival Salem at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
