Baseball Game Preview: Allentown Redbirds vs. Robbinsville Ravens

The Allentown Redbirds will head out on the road to take on the Robbinsville Ravens at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Allentown put up the most runs they have all season on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Princeton Day as they made off with a 14-2 victory. The Redbirds not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, Robbinsville made easy work of Trenton Central on Tuesday and carried off a 14-2 win. The Ravens haven't had any issues with the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Robbinsville back to even at 3-3-1. As for Allentown, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Allentown came up short against Robbinsville in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, falling 5-2. Can the Redbirds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
